 Welcome to Middle School CareerTech!

In the middle school Paxton Patterson Technology Lab, you will have the opportunity to begin exploring careers while learning about new technology.  There are currently fifteen modules at the middle school level and include CAD, Computer Graphics & Animation, Digital Music, Health & Fitness, Electricity & Electronics, Flight Technology, Information Technology, Lasers, Materials Processing, Mechanisms, Research & Development, Robotics, Structural Engineering, Video Production, and Virtual Architecture. 

The modules are structured to facilitate cooperative learning and self discovery along with developing problem solving skills.  They deliver a technological based curriculum through the use of multimedia, video and hands-on activities.  In the employability unit, students will be using MOIS to research and explore many different careers.  In addition, students will also complete an educational development plan and career research paper.
